Increasingly common these days are funny trophies or gag trophies. Rather than being awarded to someone or a team who excels in a competition, funny or gag trophies are often awarded for something that is not necessarily an accomplishment that a person wants to be remembered for!

Most trophy companies will design whatever you require in a trophy. It can be serious or humorous. Perhaps you are having a costume party and want to design a bunch of different trophies for a variety of awards. Not all of them can be for best costume, instead you may want to give out a funny trophy for the odd entries that people wear to amuse themselves at costume parties. As well there are occasions when someone just wants to send a funny trophy to a friend, coworker or relative as a gag prize or on an occasion that needs a little humor.

Even celebrities will put up with a funny trophy given them by the public. The Razzie is given to those that have been voted by the public to not have accomplished what they had set out to in the entertainment field. This can be someone who has been voted worst actor or actress or a movie or song that has been voted the worst of the year. Most celebrities take this with the humor it is meant to have though some find this award, which they are asked to accept, as too much of an insult. The actor who has garnered the most nominations is Sylvester Stallone with an impressive thirty nominations to his credit and an equally amazing ten wins. It is not clear if he sees the humor of this funny trophy.
